Elisabeth Dagan
designer
From a very young age, Elisabeth Dagan J. was passionate about fashion and couture. It was in the neighborhood where she grew up that she made her hand by picking up the scraps of fabric strewn across the sewing workshops to make dresses, skirts and dolls.
After initial training with the nuns, she joined the Flash Couture institute. Building on her achievements and her talent, in 1990 Elisabeth opened the Elisa Couture house in the town of Abengourou in Côte d’Ivoire. Upon her arrival in France in 2000, she underwent training at the Formamod Institute in order to familiarize herself with French know-how before working in a fashion house specializing in the manufacture of wedding and evening dresses. It was in 2006, under the encouragement of her trainer, that she opened the Daglise Design sewing workshop in La Courneuve. 6 years later, the workshop is transferred to the very chic 15th arrondissement of Paris.
Inspired by her travels and her personal experience, the designer, through the play of colors and patterns, invites each woman to discover a magical and borrowed world.
